Potable water tank
A large water storage tank is often required to support the operations of various types of enterprises, during construction, or in settlements for regular and uninterrupted water supply, among other uses. Special requirements apply when the tank is intended for potable water. The Fire-Drop design is perfectly suited for these purposes, even in regions with cold climates. The potable water tank features high-quality thermal insulation and an automatic electric heating element (TEN), allowing the water to remain in liquid form.
Our tank design features: a polymer membrane suitable for potable water, a potable water fill unit made of HDPE with a flow-break mechanism, and a potable water intake unit also made of HDPE with anti-vortex plates. It includes a communication unit for transferring water between tanks, a drainage unit for complete emptying during maintenance, and an overflow unit equipped with a water seal. A control panel allows monitoring of the tank’s fill level. In addition, our potable water tanks are equipped with filter-absorbers that prevent small particles and harmful bacteria from entering the tank.
Potable water tank
With high-tech Fire-Drop water tanks, you can store the required amount of water in top quality. Potable water tanks are often combined with fire-fighting water storage, which is referred to as combined storage. Combined water storage tanks differ from standard potable water tanks only by the presence of an additional signal from the level sensor, which ensures that a reserve of water necessary for fire-fighting is maintained in the tank.
