Pump stations
A block-module pump station is a ready-to-install from the factory product that includes pre-installed and connected pumping equipment, all necessary tanks, process piping, and control cabinets for automatic and manual operation of the technological equipment. Depending on the intended application, the station may be equipped with one or several pumps, including main and backup pumps, booster pumps, or multiple pump groups for different purposes. All pumps are protected against dry running, phase loss, overvoltage, and undervoltage. As shut-off valves, electrically actuated gate valves are most commonly used, allowing for automation of the module pump station operation.
The block-module pump station is housed in a specially designed and manufactured structure (block box) with the required fire resistance rating, ensuring safe operation under specified wind, snow, seismic, and temperature load conditions.
Applications of block-module pump stations
Modular pump stations are designed for use in domestic and drinking water supply systems (1st, 2nd, and 3rd lift), fire protection, and circulation systems.
Advantages of block-module pump stations
Pump station placement options with tank complexes- Flexible configuration and installation options, allowing operators to adapt the system for any conditions.
- Water supply capacity is independent of the number of connected facilities and limited only by the source.
- A modular construction enables unlimited expansion by adding new blocks.
- Block-module pump stations are delivered ready-to-install from the factory, eliminating the need for costly on-site installation. The station is fully prepared for immediate connection and operation.
- Compact and mobile design offers additional advantages. No extra structures are needed for installation, and there are no site limitations.
- Integrated variable frequency drive (VFD) increases station efficiency and reduces energy costs. The VFD allows water pressure to be adjusted according to consumer requirements.
